CPU temperature monitor P7510

Dear all,

I overclocked my P7510 to 1.6 GHz after running it on 1.4 GHz for a couple of months using the A1 kernel (1.4 GHz v1.8.4, 1.6 GHz v1.8.6). I was wondering if there's a way to monitor the CPU temperature, in case the dual core ARMv7 has a sensor on board, which is a boundary condition of course. Until know, my Tab 10.1 rocks like hell, but want to protect it from overheating or see the effect of overclocking Thanks in advance.

Update: according Android Assistant the P7510 does not have a temperature sensor on board.

[Q] android 4.3 instead of 5.0?

I heard rumors that google is still not working on Android 5.0 'key Lime Pie', and they will also not present it on Google I/O this month.
Apparently they will release a newer version of a Jelly bean ROM, Android 4.3, apperently with codename 'Android 4.3 JWR23B'.
Rumors told me that Google already tested Android 4.3 on a galaxy nexus 7 and nexus 4.

What my question is:
The Samsung galaxy tab10.1 had a timid start with android 4.2, it was laggy and it didn't respond at times, but it turned out to be one of the fastest ROM ever on my galaxy tab10.1 after hard and long work ( i'm flashing pershoot's ROM's (CyanogenMod) now since 11 months), thanks to pershoot.
Will there also be any chance to run a newer android version on this tablet after Android 4.2?
since there were doubts that android 4.2 would ever work on this tablet and turned out to be this smooth, it's giving me alot hope, what do you think?
-what do you think, android 4.3 or 5.0?
-what could be new in android 4.3/5.0?

[Q] Internet key dongle P7510

hello to all,
you can use a 3g dongle in p7510?
I have a cable OTG bought on amazon that the original samsung usb connection kit with PPP widget, but every time I plug the dongle I get an error where it says it has received a high-power device and you can not use it ..

Is there a way to fix this problem?

[Q] Galaxy 10.1 Table Screen Cracked - Need Help with USB or Bluetooth Mouse

Hello Everyone,

I need a little help, if possible.

I own a Galaxy 10.1 tablet. Recently my son dropped it and cracked the screen. I am not able to use the touch screen anymore.

The tablet is rooted, with current recovery and has a CM 10.1 JellyBean installed. I was in the impression that if I buy the samsung USB adapter then I can use the usb mouse but it seems like its not working.
I wiped the tablet and re-installed CM Nightly JB and its still not working.

Couple of questions:

1) Is there a way I can get the USB mouse working?
2) I also have a Bluetooth (BT) mouse that I can use but for that I need to have the Bluetooth option enabled and becuase the touch screen is not working that not happening.
3) Is it possible to request a backup from a co-owner with the bluetooth option enabled and then do a restore on my tablet? If yes, Can anyone volunteer to provide me a bluetooth enable backup?
4) Is there a way to enable bluetooth or mount USB mouse via zipfile through Recovery.

Hi Guys! This is my first post in the forum. I have a couple questions for you.

I have a ICS 4.0 rom in my tab and not yet rooted.

So, plz help me how to root my tablet because I want to record video games in my tab because non-rooted users couldn't do it.

And also, can I upgrade it to Jelly bean? If so, help me too :) Thank you very much people.

Am rooted and rom checker passed.

What do I do now? Have downloaded the file for the cyangen mod, but what to do?

Hi everyone. I'm just wondering that which one should i get: an older one or a newer one galaxy tab 10.1 version. I know that someone will say that the newer is better, but i've done a lot of searching and see that they both have almost same specs! So i'm confused to choose. I mainly will use this tablet for watching movies, webs, and another thing to consider is i wanna take my sim card from my iphone 5 to put on them. I know that i need an adapter to convert it. So my question is can we make phone call on two of these models? I'm living in the US and its hardly to find these 2 models in new condition, so i decided to go with the used one from amazon. And they're worth almost the same, about 350$ with very good condition. So which one do you guy think i should buy?

Looking For Tablet ROM With More Complete S-Pen Support

Hello. I have written an app that helps to improve the accuracy of the S-Pen. It works only on Note phones because Samsung has compiled some S-Pen device driver interfaces out of the tablet ROMs. It is not clear why they did this. I have asked Samsung but gotten no replies. I have confirmed that parts of the kernel code is commented out in the open source kernel code (and you can see that some of the interface files found on phones do not exist on the tablets). It seems that the tablets suffer from the same issues related to the S-Pen as do the phones and I have many people asking me to make my app work on their tablets. I cannot do so with the stock ROMs because of the missing interface files.

So I am wondering if there any non-stock ROMs in which the S-Pen is more fully supported. The missing files are located on my phone in /sys/class/sec/sec_epen/ and the two files I need are called epen_hand and epen_rotation. If anyone knows of any ROMs for the S-Pen equipped tablets that provide these interface files, I would appreciate knowing and may be able to direct some folks to using them.

Hello, forgive me if this is a common question but searching doesn't yield much info.
I'm considering a Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 Tablet new or second hand but really want the USA spec as I believe the UK model has less features such as IR Blaster.
Can anyone advise best procedure to get one delivered to the UK from USA. I mean is eBay a good option or do some suppliers specialise in this type of thing. I just worry a little with regards to safe delivery and reliability.

Adding internal full size USB port DIY project

Correct me if I am mistaken but the Keyboard docks for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 2 10.1 and Note 10.1 all provide keyboard and charging at the same time (and also audio out).

Well, This proves that charging and USB on the go can be made in a single device.

I was thinking in something a little more bold: integrating a full size USB port inside the tablet itself and a microUSB port just for charging with a conventional Android USB cable as the one that comes with my Galaxy S3 (but using the tablet charger, of course, due to the higher Amps).

I plan to make all the modifications inside the tablet and soldering the to the 30 pin port internally.

It sounds crazy but I think it could be done.

My only concern is about USB syncing with the computer. So I guess I should add a switch somewhere to change from USB host (pendrive, keyboard, etc) to USB slave (syncing with computer).

Also, it would be great too if when set in USB slave mode the added microUSB port could serve as syncing port (yeah, I don't like the docking port. It is good for docking, bad for everything else)

My previous tablet was an Acer Iconia Tab A500. It had plenty of interfacing options: a full size host USB, a syncing microUSB, a round two pins charging connector similar to the old nokia ones (allowing charging and using USB pendrive at the same time) and microHDMI out apart from a docking port and audio jack. The only thing I miss from this tablet is its connectivity :(

Any ideas, comments, suggestions?

[Q] AT&T Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - No JB update, want to root and update/flash

Am I in the right spot? I could not find a forum for the Tab 2, even though they're very similar.

Are there potential LTE/AT&T connectivity issues with flashing a new ROM on this tablet?

I have an AT&T S4 and they were practically giving away the Tab 2 so I figured why not, but AT&T is the only provider yet to update to even 4.1.2, so I need to do something. But I'm afraid of losing my LTE plan with a new ROM and have no experience rooting my devices. My S4 is still stock TouchWiz.

Sorry if I'm in the wrong spot - if I am in the right spot, anybody wanna shoot the **** with me about what I can do with this thing?

I run AOKP on my phone and have Tasker run

Been trying to do the same thing on my CM tablet but the mount fails:

Hi peeps. Currently running cm10.1 nighlty but not very happy with the performance of it. Is there any better roms. Ive checked the forums and seen others but no one specifies which one is the best and yes i no it comes to personal choice but please enlighten me
