any possible way to get this tablet up and running?

GTP7510MAYXAR wont connect to pc, usb not recognized. In odin mode it does the same. Pc doesnt have bluetooth either.
:confused:
When inserting a usb female connector it does say usb connection, but the usb flash drives did not show. Tablet
also charges healthy.

I want to root this, install clockwork recovery, flash rom to jb 4.2.2, but without the help of that pc i am stuck on 4.04 stock.
Bought this from someone so no previous exp with this device.

Any way to root and install recovery with tablet alone itself?

Any thoughts on what might be causing the issue in the attached pic? I have replaced the lcd, the digitizer and the lcd ribbon, and I still have this display.

Help with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G

I've been trying to upgrade a Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 3g (P7500) from android 4.0.4 to 4.2.2 but i encountered some problems:


1. I'm stuck on "Android system recovery <3e>" version which has no "Install zip from sd card".
2. I tried to flash with ODIN a CWM Recovery with no luck. It says it been done but still no change.
3. I tried using SuperOneClick to root the tablet but it gets stuck on step7.
4. Something is wrong with SD CARD, it shows up in File Manager and Windows Explorer but not recognized in Android Sistem Recovery.

What can i do? I need to root the device and the update Android to latest version.

I've been following the progress on official Ubuntu Touch port to Galaxy Tab 10.1 for a while and today they have updated the wiki for a dedicated session and early build install instructions.
This is an early build, some things work, some things are unknown and wifi is work in progress.

Installation
1. Download the ubuntu preinstalled and the p4wifi specific cyanogenmod image from the unlock instruction section below.

2. Put both zip files onto your sdcard

3. Enter recovery mode and do a wipe data/factory reset

4. Flash in this order:

First the cyanogenmod image (e.g. cm-10.1-20130325-UNOFFICIAL-p4wifi.zip)
Then the ubuntu image (this may take a while)
5. reboot

fix screen pixel ratio (this will become obsolete once the config file is included by default):

1. download p4wifi.conf: http://ubuntuone.com/688wubidavYnvfKvBWV7cY

2. copy p4wifi.conf into /etc/ubuntu-session.d/

3. reboot

Complain to ROM Manager Touch Recovery for SGT 10.1

I've paid to ROM Manager Recovery Touch within my tablet.

I've sent 3 emails to the developer. He did not answer. In his blog there is no space for complains or ask for support.
I've tried the channel of Google Play to the developer also.

I'M NOT GOING TO PAY TWICE!
I HATE LAKE OF SUPPORT!

I overclocked with setcpu and got amazing benchmark:3252.

Possible official Jelly Bean upgrade?

So as we know the Galaxy Tab is a dual core tablet (obviously) that runs on a Tegra 2 processor.

I was looking through Sammobile today and I came across this article:

Apparently Samsung ARE still developing/testing on this tablet (as well as the other originals) and are testing Jelly Bean builds...

Apparently also if the test firmware passes the tests and so on and a Jelly Bean rom is all goods, then this will be upgraded to... 4.2.2.

Right now apparently testing is being done on the 7.7 variant, but surely they'd also test on our 10.1 Tabs (it states P7500 right now, but the P7510 should follow suit if that's the case)

EDIT: The 7.7 is already getting Jelly Bean

(Of course right now this is all up in the air and is subject to change, but we can be hopeful)

What do you guys think?

recovery issue

Hi!

Need a help!

Recently I've tried to root my tab 10.1 p7500. But I failed. Then I've reinstalled my device.
Now, when I try to access the recovery, I get something different.

I no more have the 'update from your SD card.

But I have : update from external storage and update from cache.

Please help!

I believe the process is similar to installing CM on P3110... i've just got a new 10.1 samsung tab 2.
Can anyone provide me the links to the Clockworkmod recovery, Gapps, and if theres an updated Samsung USB driver zip ?

[Q] Galaxy Note 10.1 input device - button control or rotary control

Has anyone ever used an external device to control app functions? Bluetooth connection would be preferred but USB would be fine too. I really couldn't find any info on anything other than mice or keyboards. What I'm looking to do is have an extra form of programmable input for certain apps for an extra level of control. Specifically, I want to have something that will quickly allow me to change brush size, opacity, select different tools, etc in Sketchbook Pro. Something like the Contour ShuttleXpress would be perfect, but I couldn't find anything that would allow me to use it with Android.

3DConnexion SpaceNavigator and Griffin PowerMate looked good too but I couldn't find any support for Android for them either.

Am I missing something or am I out of luck to use any of these without some custom code? Are there any alternatives?

CWM/TWRP Recovery Sensus

Hello everyone!

Has anyone here seen this custom recovery in the following section of XDA?

I personally use this recovery on my GN2 and would love to have it available for our Tab 10.1. I have asked the question whether it would be available for our tablets and the developer offered to develop one for us.

He stated that he needed and I qoute "Give a link with specs and upload a recovery.img extracted from sammobile.com firmware. A JB version and ideally new international / europe firmware". I am fairly fluid at flashing recoveries, ROM's, kernels and etc but am inexperienced in the items that he has requested.

This particular recovery works very well on the phones, offers so much customization, and will work with both CWM and TWRP backups.

My question is would anyone else be interested in getting this recovery available for our tablets and would anyone be able to help in putting the info together for our custom version of this recovery?

This is a feeler and at the same time a call for assistance. Any help is appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to port over the newest SLIM ROM build 4 to our tab 10.1 7500? I have it running on my SGS2 and its AMAZING! Most customizable rom ever IMO.

I am asking because I have absolutely zero background in programming otherwise I would be happy to contribute and do it myself.

I would really appreciate if anyone would be able to help me out with this, I'm sure its a project others will really enjoy too. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

[Q] Weird Netflix Issue..

So, I've followed up on all the Netflix Jellybean issues through the forum quite intensely, and am still having a Netflix issue. A little background:

After I bought the tablet, Netflix worked fine. Then three months ago, it crashed for the first time.
After that, it'd crash 1 out of every 60 times. A month later, 1 every 30. As of last month, it was crashing 1 out of every 3 times I tried to watch something -- the Netflix circle would just go around and around and around, and then go back to it.

Yesterday, it started to crash with everything. It'll get to the movies/play menu, but once I click on a video, I just get the spinning circle o' doom.

I've done the video quality adjustment and have done everything except going 100% stock -- there doesn't seem to be a clear and concise thread on how to return it 100% factory and erase absolutely everything (or maybe I'm just not looking clear enough). I'm not sure if going back to stock would help where it continually degraded over the months..

Anyway, have any others experienced this on the first gen Galaxy Tab? And are you experienced on how to fix it by chance?..

It might be an odd question but currently I have task650's rom and as stunning
as it is it has some speed problems with most live wallpapers, and my favorite game on android
has always been live wallpapers laughing out loud. Now this was mostly
the case too with stock ICS, so my question is as the title,

Hi all,

Im running stock ICS on my SGT 10.1. I also have a SGS which Ive flashed many times. Thought it was time to do the Tablet.

So.......I just updated my SGS to Gamerzrom, which I cant give enough praises for, its AOSP and its running very smooth and very fast.

Im just wondering what is your favourite/fastest upgrade(ROM) youve delighted your Tablet with??? Any AOSP youd recommend?? Im not really looking for CM10. Im looking for light, fast but also smooth with a little bit of eye candy.
