[Q] Stuck on Samsung Screen
I need general advice, I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 , thats stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy 10.1 " boot screen. Someone gave it to me because I guess they didn't want to take the time to try and fix. I don't know what software it's on, but I know it's not rooted.....is there an easy fix to get it functioning properly or should I toss it in trash

[Q] A dumb question.
Hi.
I have a gt-p7500...hmm with both wifi and 3g. and I'm on Android 3.2.
As I have understand Samsung have released a 4.0.4 version for this device or is this wrong (I'm from Sweden) or am I wrong?
If they have not released this 4.0.4 I thinking of trying to flash my device to CM10 (or what it's called) Jellybean. But I don't know how, and im afraid to brick it (have read some scary notes about that.)
Can someone help me straighten this question marks for me? :)

l2_hsic wakelock?
Hello.
Im having big issues with battery drain, the process "l2_hsic" is draining it.
Now i first was on the ics standard rom with this problem and change to Toldo ics rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1813651)
I have done a complete wipe (not just factory reset), also tied different kernels (yoda and A1), but same drain remains.
Anyone got a clue on how to resole this ?

[Q] Galaxy tab 10.1 google now crash
Hello, i am in need of some help. i recently flashed a custom rom ( Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean CM10.1 Nightly) to my galaxy tab 10.1
i have installed google search and flashed the correct gapps file to it using CWM.
whenever i go to use the speech recognition option to the right of the google search bar, google now crashes.
any ideas would be great!:laugh:

[Q] Gah! Head hurts, want to root my GT-7510 ICS - Please help!
I've been reading forums and searching forums all day, but can't seem to find a definitive answer to whether I'll be able to root my specific version of tablet or not, there's so many different types, build numbers, UK versions/US versions my head is close to blowing! Any advice would be soo much appreciated.
I bought a tablet off Ebay, a GT-7510 (US version I think, although I live in the UK) which came with Honeycomb installed. I then updated OTA to ICS 4.0.4, but it seems pretty laggy in general compared to the other Galaxy tabs I've seen, now I'm at the point where I'd like to root it and try some custom roms to see if they're any better than the stock ICS rom.
Here is the info for my tab which I think is relevant:-
Android Version 4.0.4
Kernel version 3.1.10
Build number IMM76D.UELPL
I've found so many different methods of how to root certain variations, but can't be certain if one of them applies to my tablet, whether I'd have to flash it back to Honeycomb, whether it only works for UK or US versions etc etc, that I've given up searching and thought I'd start my own post, and hope that somebody could tell me whether I can definitely root my device, and which would be the best method to do it? I have no warranty on my device as it's a refurb, so rooting doesn't bother me, but I'm worried about using the wrong method and bricking it.

I have been Thinking about if I should root my Galaxy 8.9 I have rooted before But 10 minutes later the device turned off and was stuck on the boot logo Do I had to flash but to the stock recovery.
Im on a contract with Telstra
The tablet is the only Electronic device I have also with internet So I dont want to stuff up and be left with nothing or if A app can also cause that.
The reason I want to root is becuase I dont have A windows PC My brother does but his always onit And I can then record the Androids screen todo YoTube videos.
Let me know the risks of Re Rooting The device and if theres any Other apps that records the screen without The required root.
Note: I wont be flashing Roms if I did root till I geg another Tablet/Desktop and of contract.

[Q] Help with Slim bean rom GAPPS?
Hi, i just installed slim bean rom for my Galaxy tab 10.1 GT-P7500 3G (i only use it as wifi tab though). and it works perfectly .. it's just i cant figure out how to install GAPPS for it. which one should i be using, can someone help me out please? The OP didnt include GAPPS link.

Galaxy tab p7500 putting recovery mode
Hi dear.
I've galaxy tab p7500 and I want to put cwm (because default recovery mode has removed). But I want to put it without putting cwm files to root folder. Because I don't have a root access and I can't root. (I don't have permission.)
How can I put it cwm? (I remember adb shell, is it for that? Accessing tab on pc?)

Compatibilty inside each language
I have bought Samsung Galaxy Tab inside Germany. Is there an issue if this can be used inside other country and update of software?
Can be used in other languages or update is always an issue? Is it not software (OS) the same in English even I use in Russia just as example?

arduino as bluetooth keyboard - no scancodes sent?
I am trying to use an arduino with a bluetooth HID module (bluesmirf) to control the volume on my Galaxy tab. I have the arduino setup so that i push a small button that is wired in, and it sends ascii text to the tablet just like a keyboard would, and this works fine. I wanted to create a custom keyboard layout file for this "bluetooth keyboard" so that when the tablet receives a keypress from the arduino over bluetooth, it would control the appropriate item, like the volume, mute, etc. However, when using keytest to capture the incoming button press from the bluetooth module, the scancode is always 0. Keytest is reading the key right and shows it as keycode_a (for example) when an A is sent, but the scancode for that key is always 0 instead of a unique identifier. Oddly enough, the carriage return that the arduino automatically puts at the end of the serial.println command (command that I am using to send the button presses over bluetooth) shows up correctly as ENTER and DOES have a scancode.
I dont get it. I must be doing something wrong but I am still new/learning so I must be missing it. I cant setup a custom keyboard layout to do what I want without having a scancode coming in for the tablet to see.
I can post my arduino code if necessary. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I am so close to accomplishing what I need and its driving me insane.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
I heard this from a friend and I want to make sure that this information is correct. Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 coming out soon? if so when and where can I find this info so I can read it for my self?
I also have the Original Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 (WiFi) and I am running 4.0.4 and I am wanting to know if and when 4.1.2 or Jelly Bean will be officially released for the Original Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I do not want to root or download a Non Official rom to my tab.

On Sammobile a 2013 release for the P7510 was posted: P7510XWMPE_P7510OXXMPB_NEE (Nordic countires). Unfortunately, the link is not working and the Android version is not mentioned (most probably another ICS 4.0.4 with bug fixes or so). Does anyone have more info on this release? Or has a link for this firmware? Thanks in advance.
