[Q] KitKat For GTP-7510

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (gtp7510) - I have install a OS that wasn't good, the screen is flicking before I boot - only 4GB are available, etc...

I would like to format my tablet and install a fresh new android kitkat, is that possible on my device?

One thing that have been disturbed since I bought our TAB 10.1 is the oversaturated colours, even if the movie picture mode is used, there are two many errors. I want natural colours, the picture should be near D6500 as possible.

I know that for about a year ago there where a guy on XDA that was devolping an app for making the picure more natural.

So the question is, which rom(that is stable) got the most natural and correct picture?

Hello, I was trying to update my Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7510 from 3.2 to 4.0 through Odin. I downloaded the US firmware (P7510XABLPL_P7510UELPL_HOME.tar) and open it in Odin. Went to Download mode on the Galaxy Tab and press start.
It said failed. And I can't do anything since. Any help?

Kit kat error with exchange mail

Hi, I am using Omni rom and it's great, fast and stable.

The only one big big problem for me is I cant create an exchange account.

Someone knows when will be fixed?

There is a workorround?

Hey, I have an issue with the custom Roms....whenever I try to install one the cwm gaves me a bloody error...
I have p7510 and clockwork says that the ROM is for p4wifi....aren't the two devices identical?

[Q] Using Samsung Tablet as Monitor for Mac Mini

Thanks for all the great info guys.
I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer.
I had my Galaxy Tab stolen along with my Macbook Air and need to replace.
This time I would like to get a fully spec'd Mac Mini and get the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or 12.1.
Anyone know how to get Samsung tablet to be used as a monitor for Mac Mini? I want to work off Tablet while connected to Mac Mini for
my video and audio work and then use the tablet later for web and other android stuff.
I would prefer a wired connection since Mac Mini has all kinds of ports that are fast.
Anyone know of a work around for this kind of setup?
I need to have both because of the heavy work I do in video and audio on Mac and the the heavy
research I do online with tablet. The pen would be a great help in both systems. I've seen on youtube that
tablets touch screen can be used on Macbooks.
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Flickering/rolling screen after screen on/unlock

Dear colleagues,

I'm facing a very frequent problem with flickering/rolling screen after unlocking on my P7510 Table (Europe version).

I just upgraded for the first time from original Samsung ROM directly to "[KK4.4]Omni ROM". I'm running the latest CWM 6..... There is no flickering/rolling on CWM screen. There is no problem with the Omni rom, everything works fine (Wifi, ...).

However after switching the screen Off/On flickering/rolling appears what makes table unusable.

I spent hours reading post regarding this issue but found nothing useless.

Please help.

Hi, I have a Galaxy Tablet 10.1 and just purchased another tablet which is a Kobo arc 64GB. I am unsure of which tablet to keep and I am hoping for some advice. The Kobo is 1.5 ghz so it is technically faster and has a newer android OS and I purchased for $139.99, but it is a 7" compared to my 10.1 which I like bigger a little better but not so much as to make my decision. I read that galaxy tab can be rooted and updated but I haven't got into that yet. The galaxy also has better camera and more functions gps, Bluetooth, etc. both are wifi only. I am really unsure which one to keep. I paid 399.99 for my galaxy like 1 1/2 yr ago. Can anyone help make my decision a little easier? I am very torn on which one to keep and so much info on internet about different tablets it makes it hard to find any answers. :confused:

SD Card and sync problems 10.1

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 put Dhollment Kit Kat on it and tab works fines. The Sd card does not.
It won't stay mounted and when try to transfer to the card keep getting disconnect errors.
Tried fat 32 format and NTSC (ntsc is more stable but not perfect)
The card keeps loosing data and unmounting. It's a 64gb samsung (thought a samsung sd in a samsung tablet would be a no brainer)
obviously not. Also is there a syn manager and back up manager that works best with these since rooted can no longer use
kies which again is a good thing. only thing i used it for was back ups.

any help appreciated also did reboots and hard reboot and still same problem. only thing i noticed is there's a usb debugging message that pops up sometimes. thanks tried to post in the dhollmen rom thread but site wouldn't let me.

i have a galaxy tab 10.1 GT-P7500V 3G/4G WiFi (V = videotron Canada) came on hc 3.2. I installed this custom rom JellyBeanRomICS v8 XXLQ8 GT-P7500, and I would go back to a stock version. Can someone show me the right way to do it without crashing or freezing Please.:confused:

I'm a newbie to this forum. I'm currently using samsung galaxy tab 10.1 sgh-t859 t-mobile 4.3.1 running cyanogenmod 10.2 diamondrom p4tmohttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399999. I would like to update to kasperh_h latest 4.4 Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2576610. When I try to update, I get incompatible Rom error., I suppose the Rom their is not compatible to my device version. Is their a work around. Thanks for the help in Advance

Rooting Galaxy Tab 10.1

Hi,

As thousands before me already have asked I've never really found a direct answer for my next question... Maybe because it was never asked this way:

1). What is the pros and cons for rooting Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7500)?
Basically everything you can think of, put into boxes of good and bad things about it.

2). What ROM would you recommend using IF I was to root my tablet?
I really only know about Cyanogen mod, however I've heard that theres many other just as good or maybe better ROMs too.

3). Could you provide a link to a good and simple guide how to root my tablet IF that is what I end up doing. And ofcourse a link to your recommended ROM.

Last but not least; I know rooting breaks the warranty of my product, however my products warranty has already ran out so this "concern" is already out of the picture.
