iPad
I have a SG Tab 10.1 Wifi that I really like and am ready to upgrade but probably will wait for the next G Tab to come out or another Android device. Well to make a long story short I bought a 3rd Gen iPad Retna for my kids but only because the kids next door have one and there are games that they have that arent available for Android. But really it was mostly to stop the whining. I still cant believe that there are developers that are developing for just one OS, it doesnt make sense to me with the number of devices on the market youd think theyd want to get on as many as they can. Ok so back to the crApple iPad, I have to say that so far I am not that impressed with it, that I dont see a big difference between the two devices or even the screens. I put the pic on my computer that was taken by my S GNex to view it on my 24 Samsung LED monitor for comparison. Then I put a pic on both and I couldnt see that one was better than the other or course the monitor blew both the tablets away. The speeds on both also seem similar with both have a little bit of lag when performing tasks. I even had to reboot the iPad twice since Ive had it which has been about 24 hours because it froze while the kids were playing a game.
The kids like it only because they get to play the game that the other kids are playing. They are young yet and dont understand technology well enough to understand the differences between the two yet, I still have a little bit of time to teach them the difference and the right path. ;)
But for me this will be the one and only iPad that I buy, Im going to stick with my Android devices because the quality is very good and I like the openness. I still feel a little sick for buying it but I love my kids and want them to be happy.
